Unable to see payment logs from scout book

I’m unable to enter payment logs quick entry from scout book and always re-directing me advancement scout org and I don’t see any entry for payments. Please check my access as attached

@SharatMandava - what shows there is of no value.

A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See the updated Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.

Beyond that you should NOT be in legacy acoutbook. You should be working in advancements.scouting.org

You will need to work with your unit Key 3 (unit leader, Committee Chair, Charter Org Rep) to be given the proper positions in Scoutbook Plus. Being a Unit Admin in legacy Scoutbook does not give you access to Payment Log in Scoutbook Plus. You will need financial permissions or be the unit’s treasurer.

I just saw the update today. Will we be able to run individual scout payment logs (csv) like in legacy?

How soon will I get access after being added to Scoutbook? My chair asked me to check after 24 hours, but I still don’t have access.

yes, it is for advancements.scouting.org
I asked access for Unit Payment Log Create/Edit as part of finance team group and he provided access for this. But, still I don’t see new access yet.

@SharatMandava you do not have payment log permissions - you can go to the SB+ Profile for yourself > Left column > look at permissions there.

Yes, I don’t see new role which is I requested and my chair confirmed me that added role as requested.

I got confirmation from him that after clicked on Apply Changes received message that

“it might take 24hr” and now it is more than 24 hours

Got reply from my chair that, You can’t be unit treasurer. We need additional roles who are not unit treasurer that can update finance logs.

Now what role I should have to update all scout payment logs. Could you please share me screenshot with the details if possible??

What is your registered position as that can limit what permissions you can get.

What else missing here from Finance ???

@SharatMandava - I am going to recommend that the committee chair assign the permissions from a pc so that they can see the check boxes properly. I am not sure if NMC can be assigned payment log permissions as we do not have any in our unit.
