Unable to use the Scouting app

I just updated the Scouting app on my iPhone Xr running iOS 18.3 to 4.7.0 according to the app store and now when I go in the app it says I need to update it when I go in to the app it says Current Version: V2.7.0 and on the next line it says Release Details: V4.7.0 and at the bottom of the screen it has a Update Application that brings me to the iTunes Store page for the app instead of the App Store page but regardless of that it only lets me open the app again. I would like to know how to bypass this since I want to access the app.

A fix has been submitted to Apple for review. Timing of release is in Apple’s hands.

I downloaded the new app that was just released (Feb 2 6am. v.2.7.1) to replace 4.7.1 and I still get the same splash screen as I did with the update a couple days ago telling me to update and rendering the app useless.

I deleted the app and reinstalled and get the same message.

For me the App update screen worked today correctly

It worked for me as well, but I did have to “force quit” it first. “Push up” from the bottom of the screen to see the open apps, flick up on the scouting app, then when I reopened it, it worked.
