I asked it a year or more ago. I guess it is just a visual typo. A super easy fix, that the developers I guess aren’t interested in fixing.
Sort of like the legacy menus on my.scouting. Legacy, but no new ones either. Odd.
I only see “beta” on the Edit screen. The rest seem ok.
Also, I just checked, Gmail was officially in “beta” for over 5 years. You know, back when being beta was cool and you never wanted to stop 
It is a typo on that particular screen.
I’ve just seen this a zillion times, and was getting tired of it.
