It does, unfortunately the whole verification process with Scoutbook turns off all our parents. So we have only 2 parents out of 48 willing to use it. We use google groups for contact instead to send messages and use Scoutbook Solely for advancement tracking. Calendar on google is used also for us.
Steve - we do use the messaging in scoutbook as adding parents/guardians does require an email. As far as parents connecting, all of ours accepted the invite and have logged in on the scout side we are at 50% with scouts being connected.
Same here. I only have one parent with an active scout in our troop that hasn’t bothered to activate he SB account. Everyone else has with no issues.
Wow, your parent meetings must be much better attended than ours. The parents who show up here are the ones that are also already in Scoutbook. They’re not the ones being discussed in this forum.
