In 2021, we transferred to Greater Los Angles Area Council and received new BSA numbers. When I was rechartered in 2022, the pack used the gulf coast number for recharter. This is where the struggles started.

Gulf Coast BSA: 13017396
GLAAC BSA: 14085877

Currently, my manage ID shows no memberships, even though I chartered as Cubmaster in Sept 2023. When I switch between the two BSA numbers as primary, neither show a membership, one number shows 2 of my kids, the other numbers shows my 3rd, but not the first two.

Access for CM tools is under the Gulf Coast number, which on manage member ID shows as a GLAAC number, as shown in uploaded image.

After talking to our ADC from district, we believe I have two accounts somehow. Attached is the SB error that shows on my SB dashboard.

Please advise on anything I can do before we escalate to national.
Thanks

@KrystalHogan ok this is fixed - I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number 13017396

the 13017396 number was under gulf coast

We currently are in Greater los Angeles.

does that make any difference?

GLAAC has you registered under it

correct.

for some reason, it shows as GLAAC, but that was the number I had when under gulf coast. So I just want to make sure when renewal comes around everything is good to go and it will not revert back to gulf coast like it did last year.

@KrystalHogan

All we can tell you is what we see. 13017396 is registered in Greater Los Angeles Council. Further explanation will need to come from your Council professional staff.

We have no idea how councils do it and talking to several registrars they do not know it happens

I was working with our ADC this morning and she has no clue how it happened as well.

If we come across a problem, at recharter is it easy to switch my number to the 140 number since it was the original number with GLAAC.

And thank you for the assistance and inform. I have played around in SB, my.scouting, and IA and have all my usual access plus access to all three kids.

Krystal

Registrations in GLAAC go back to 2021 on this number
