Hi all,
I am hoping you all can provide some assistance to a newbie. I have a District Commissioner and a District Chair looking to see all registered members in their District and the unit-level. I have been banging my head with what report they should use, or if one even exists. Is there a functional role that would give them access to a report that is only at the District level? Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to give them read-only access to download such data, but not edit it. Registration Inquiry didn’t seem to do what they’d like.
Sincerely,
Drew
@DrewVeitenheimer - I am not sure that anyone on the forums would know what roles would be needed in my.scouting.org for what you are looking to do. Perhaps the commissioner facebook group would have insight.
If the FB group doesn’t pan out, the council may be able to submit a ticket to the team that supports my.scouting (which doesn’t take requests from the SUAC volunteers) to get a description of all of the functional roles, which report might have what your District Chair & Commish are looking for, and what role they would need to have to get access.
As a near term work-around, though, has your DE been unable to get this information to the district volunteers from their interface to the system? That might at least let your volunteers keep moving forward while the national/council staff get the other parts sorted out (assuming there exists an applicable functional role and report).
district members can use filter the roster by unit. Once they have done show all members of the unit are visible.
If they do not filter by unit first the district roster will only show members that a have positions at the district level.
You can see that data via reports in my.scouting.org.
