Active scouts suddenly missing from rosters on scoutbook/scoutbook+

Suddenly, I am missing multiple scouts from the roster. These scouts are still active in the Pack. Changing roster filters does not fix this, and other leaders are seeing the same thing across the pack. It looks like it might be a system-wide issue.

@RyanSullivan5 it sounds like their registration ended - do Key 3 see them in my.scouting.org roster? What are the member #’s (no names)

I’ll check with our key 3. Because so many scouts dropped off at the same time, I’m not sure which ones exactly are missing or what their membership numbers are.

@RyanSullivan5 and you did go to Filter and simple click the Reset Filter?

I also think your Key 3 should review this - The Scoutbook Plus permission system has changed. See Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video. - as you might be affected as a Den Leader

Yes, I had not used the filter before, but I checked that to make sure no filters were selected.

I will let them know. They looked and said they only saw 11 of the 15 scouts in my.scouting.org, same as what’s in scoutbook.

Yeah. If they’re missing in my.scouting, their registration expired. It might take some hand-holding with the parents to get the renewal handled via their my.scouting login.

If they are not in my.scouting it means they are Out of unit - and would need a new application to rejoin

One of the missing scouts only joined a few months ago, so they just registered. I’ll check with the 4 missing scouts’ parents to make sure they paid their fees. Then I’ll check with council to see if there is a registration issue. If not either of those things, it might just be a glitch in scoutbook that will hopefully resolve soon.

It can’t be a Scoutbook glitch if the scout is missing in my.scouting. my.scouting populates from the official membership database, not from Scoutbook/SB+.
