Announcement updated to include completed items, as promised.
On Wednesday, May 6, 2020, the Scoutbook team released an update to the Activity logs. While this update brings several new features - such as the ability to select many youths and adults from the roster and record them to the same activity, plus a new activity summary report that summarizes each activity type and metric for each person in the unit - there are a few important features that were missing in the initial release.
On Friday, May 15th, the following updates were released:
- Resolve an issue preventing some parents from accessing their children’s activity logs.
- Provide access to activity logs for the following roles: Scoutbook Unit Admin, Scoutbook Unit Advancement Chair, Assistant Scout Master, Assistant Cubmaster, Associate Crew Advisor, Mate.
On Friday, May 22nd, the following updates were released:
- Adults accessing the activity logs will have the ability to view and record their own logs.
- Additional users can now complete activities but not approve them.
The updates were added to the Scoutbook Change Log here on the forums. We encourage you to continue to visit the Scoutbook Change Log for the most up-to-date list of new features, releases, and bug fixes.
We appreciate your patience during these implementations and apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused. We are thankful to have your continued support and feedback as we work to build tools that best serve you.
Yours in Scouting,
The Scoutbook Team
