Adding scouts to patrols resets membership and creates a new one

Senior Patrol

How is the Senior Patrol (of a troop) supported in Scoutbook?
Is there a report/screen showing the composition of the senior patrol? I am assuming adding/designating a patrol leader does not reset membership and that participation time as patrol leader is not double counted. Am I correct that a patrol leader is handled as a position of leadership, not time in the patrol.

Program note

In different programs the “patrol method” may have different names for “patrol” and “patrol leader”.

Historical note

A senor patrol was originally a group of older boys, not an organizational structure.

When I look at my sons membership versus leadership in Scoutbook, it does indeed appear to track the time in a leadership position separately from the time accrued as a member of a patrol.
