I am an assistant scout master with full control on Scoutbook. I cannot take attendance at events except for myself and my son. I am linked to all the scouts in my troop. The events are only for our troop. I know I have full control because I can log “leader approved” advancement requirements for the troop. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
“Full Control” doesn’t necessarily generate calendar access. Calendar access is position-related, not youth connection-type related.
My guess is that you would need the Troop Secretary role or Troop Admin roles assigned in Scoutbook by one of the Unit Key 3 (SM,CC,COR) or an existing Troop Admin. The folks who have access to edit the calendars (and therefore mark attendance) are here:
