ASM can not record attendance

I have an ASM who has full control in scout book, but for some reason it will not let him record attendance at any event. I went into scout book and reset his permissions, but he gets the same results.

Has this happened to anyone else?

@JerroldFrink if you do not post the BSA # hard for us to help. Was the ASM part of the Event?

Does the ASM have any other roles in Scoutbook?
The position of ASM does not come with the automatic ability to take attendance.

I apologize, I was trying to multitask at the troop meeting.

ASM attends all events, but he is even having issues recording attendance at troop meetings.

The ASM needs to be added as a troop admin.

What is the difference between making him a troop admin and giving him full control? He already has full control over all of the scouts.

Full Control doesn’t get the adult access to the calendars. Calendar access (which includes attendance) is limited to certain specific functional roles in Scoutbook: Using Scoutbook Calendars (SB) - Scoutbook Knowledge Base
