Is there a way for me to bulk adjust my Pack to the new 2024 advancement requirements? I have many that seem to be defaulting to 2022.
This was caused by advancement for the next rank being started prior to June 1. Unfortunately the only way to fix it is to go one by one through the Scouts.
How do you do that even if it’s one by one? I’m having the same issue, but the version is greyed out and unclickable.
@CharlesRaimond the cubs need to be in the correct den and the ranks/adventure versions should be clickable as long as they are not completed
If the Scouts are in the correct den, you should be able to change the version on the rank. Once this is done, all adventures should automatically switch versions.
Thanks all! I appreciate the help.
Hi,
I have a very similar issue. I can change the Rank Version for a Cub to 2024 (Current); however, the requirements for a pre-existing adventure default to 2016 (Past), not 2024 (Current). The only way I’ve found to fix this (as an Advancement Chair) is to individually update each adventure for each Cub.
Is this the expect behavior when changing the Rank version?
All Scouts should be working on 2024 version of rank and adventures. We have asked the developers to run a script to move all Scouts to 2024 but we do not know how long this will take.
I am glad this is not just me. I have some that are correct and some that are not. I am glad Sept 8 was the last date. AK
Can you keep us posted on this? Thanks. AK
If you watch the change logs, you’ll likely see when changes like this are implemented. Some times, not at all guaranteed, someone responds to the thread letting people know something has been fixed.
I found a loophole… it’s a pain. But you click the scout. Then you click the last rank. Then you click the arrow to the next rank. Then I found my 2022 gray box where I could swap to 2024. At least I have a way to enter it now! YAY! BUT it will be work. AK
I’m still running into this issue 10/28/24. It’s preventing any quick entry within dens. This is probably the only time I’m glad I have a “small” Pack, because this must be driving large Packs nuts having to go in one by one. I’ve resorted to paper tracking until this is solved. Please keep us updated. Thank you!
Reported to the developers again.
