I am the advancement chair and a pack admin. I noticed there has been an update to the pending items in scoutbook+. When I click on the section To Approve I get an error stating your position and related permissions don’t allow you to perform this function. This is where it would previously let me see what was pending approval. I can still see items needing approved in the old scoutbook and can approve those, but I cannot view any of them in scoutbook+. Send help!

That is a generic Error that is happening to most users but has no effect on function

@etruongcao - look in the needs approval in scoutbook classic.. I think that is what the user found to work
That was already mentioned in the original post as what they are currently doing to get around this issue. I thought there was something else that @KeriThatcher is referring to.
Help! The work around is no longer working. When I try to run a report in scoutbook classic for needs approval or needs purchasing it now takes me to scoutbook plus to run them there. Unfortunately I still get an error saying I do not have the role or permissions to run the report for needs approval. And it won’t show me what needs approved. In the needs purchasing it tells me I have no open PO but I had an open PO this morning in scoutbook classic.
It’s also showing needs purchasing for items from 2023 and the only option is to add all to a PO.
Please help with any potential solutions as I need these reports for crossover shipping tomorrow.
The do not have permission - does it prevent you from proceeding? I have seen it you just X it out and go ahead. On any old stuff just add to PO and ignore it, or you could just make a PO with all the old stuff
Developers are looking into your issue.
I’m having this same issue. Advancement reports have been migrated to the new site, but permissions do not seem to have carried over and open purchase orders seem to have been dissociated from the pack so they can no longer be accessed.
The developers have found a issue with open POs created in legacy Scoutbook. They are working to fix the issue ASAP and hope to restore access this afternoon.

Unfortunately not full functionality. It will indicate awards are pending approval but I cannot see them, nothing is there. I can approve elsewhere in the system but not in the needs approval queue, it just shows blank.
I am having this problem still. When I try to run “Needs Approval” in Scoutbook, it opens Scoutbook+ and says I don’t have permission. I have no open POs that I can see. It seems to be allowing me to approve whole merit badges and ranks, but not individual requirements.
