I was repeatedly receiving an error trying to access/approve pending items from Scout Book Classic - specifically to complete approvals for unit leaders that are den leaders for their own children.

I started looking in Scout Book Plus to make paper notes of awards when I found the Internet Advancement

I approved items, was able to generate a purchase order in Scout Book Classic that included the specific kids I needed.

I went back through the Classic process partly to document the issues I was having - At one point I was able to access the classic ‘Needs Approval’ but I noticed it is out of sync with the approvals recently completed through plus 
 I then attempted to access classic ‘Needs Awarding’ at first I was able - I tried to mark/update all as awarded it however resulted in error. As of this post I get error accessing either report.

@ChristopherSeeber1 - what specifically is the error you are getting?

I am having the same issue. I am Pack Admin. Since approximately 12/1 (possibly before) I have not been able to access the Needs Approval list. It takes a long time to load and then says “Whoops we are having trouble accessing this” and sends me to this page to report the issue. I can access Needs Purchasing and Needs Awarding pages.

Advancement chair here for Scouts BSA troop. I am encountering the same error for “Needs Approval” report in regular Scoutbook (but not “Needs Awarding”. The error shown is:

Whoops! We encountered an error trying to process your request.

There is no error Ref.

Same issue here. I am advancement chair for both a Troop and a Pack and am having the same issue with loading the Needs Approval report. Delayed launch and then “Whoops” message.

Yes these are all Timeout issues that are being investigated

You could try the Needs Approval Report at the sub-unit (den / patrol) level. It might work better with fewer Scout connections.

Also experiencing this for my troops
 This is a big issue, I have someone who needs to go do our run for merit badges asap.

I am having the same issue, i cant run the needs approval report.

When i go to scoutbook plus i see that I have a notification that I have approvals pending but when i try to access them i see no line items or i get a timeout error.
