Age restrict JASMs

JASMs must be at least 16 years of age

“Junior Assistant Scoutmaster—A 16- to 17-year-old youth appointed by the Scoutmaster, approved by the troop committee, and responsible to the Scoutmaster for tasks assigned.”

Is it possible to build a failsafe that looks at the age of the scout and prohibits assignment to Leadership Positions = JASM until they hit 16?

OR

Add a warning “Per Rules and Regulations of Scouting America, Junior Assistant Scoutmasters are limited to youth 16- to 17-years-old”?

@WilliamsburgScouter - is this really a calendar bug or a new feature request. I would think though that the unit must govern itself according to the rules of the org.

@WilliamsburgScouter never saw that one - we can put in the back log - the committee approval on that one really surprises me

I look at it more like a feature request. It’s certainly not a bug. It’s just a requested feature addition of a sort.
