I just logged into SB+ and all of my parents and leaders are now showing as Messaging opt out:
This includes myself and my wife who I know neither of us asked to opt out of messages.

I just checked the Troop (the above message was for the Pack). All youth and adults are now Messaging opt out.
I do not know if this is related to our current Council Merger that is currently in progress?

Not an issue with your council merger. This is also happening to me. I will tell you that it seems the messages are still getting sent and received as I received a message this afternoon even though it says messaging opt out next to my name. I am hoping this is just a display issue and a easy fix.
