All members showing as messaging opt out

All members of our pack (adults and youth) are showing as “messaging opt out” in the calendar event view.

Prior to today, we had only one person who had opted out of messages, so this seems to be a system issue.

In the actual Messaging tool/page, I do not see a similar issue, so this seems (from what I can tell) to be limited to the calendar.

@ChristopherSisson - that is not how any of this works. It will be fixed when it is fixed. You can watch the change loge for updates.

Scouting America ID does not provide interim updates on issues. Updates to this issue will be announced in the Change Log (link in prior post).

This is also happening to me. I will tell you that it seems the messages are still getting sent and received as I received a message this afternoon even though it says messaging opt out next to my name. I am hoping this is just a display issue and a easy fix.

Update: The one person who actually has opted out of receiving messages is now the only person not showing as having opted out in the calendar. Previously everyone was showing as having opted out; now it’s showing it as opposite of what it should (i.e., the warning is displayed for those who have not opted out of messages and no warning is displayed for those who have actually opted out of messages).

(Yes, I know this is already a known bug - I am provide a new detail to hopefully help the developers track down and fully resolve the issue.)
