Hi, We have a new parent that is getting the error message saying that another user has the same email. ID12868870. I’m wondering if her son was in Cub Scouts a few years ago-could that be the cause of the error message? Thanks for your help!
@ErinBarrett that is fixed - and the Scout had multiple accounts that are now cleaned up
Thank you for the first fix, now this mom is unable to invite her scout to connect to his account. The directions I always send are not working for her. His name is not listed on our “Send messages” page, so I don’t think he is connected yet.
The Scout has a login but has not logged into Legacy Scoutbook @ErinBarrett
Until the scout logs in directly to Scoutbook (not the app, the website) themselves with their credentials, they won’t appear in the Send Mail interface, nor will they receive direct reminder emails for activities to which they are invited.
Hello! I’m having a similar issue. I registered and renewed my membership under Far East Council (ID 140891692).
I transferred my son over to the National Capital Council, and got a new member ID (141602573) for myself linked to that application.
I then applied as an adult volunteer to the new pack and got a third member ID (141616045)
I merged all 3 IDs in My.Scouting, but cannot figure out how to link/merge Scoutbook. Is that even possible? My son’s profile shows his current and previous Member IDs under one SB user ID, but mine does not.
Appreciate any help with this!
@CharleneSullivan SB Users cannot be user merged - if all the data merges they should merge on their own - I will take a look
@CharleneSullivan this seems to be fixed
