We want to create our own CSV to do imports but I am unable to find any templates. Are they available? I can build my own but need a list of the required columns. Thanks

Import templates are only shared with approved third party developers if I recall correctly.

I want to bulk import Merit Badges into Scoutbook. No export option was available from the camp we attended. I was looking to build my own rather than manually enter 200+ MBs.
Quick entry Multiple MBs at a time is rather fast if they are completed MBs

I am testing that now. For some reason I thought you had to be the MBC to use it. But it looks to solve the issue. Thanks
What I do if I have to after a camp event - say 5 scouts finished Swimming - I can enter all that in one stroke - it gets a little slower when you have to do requirements instead of completes. All national cares about is the complete date.

While there are general template formats (you can export advancements from Scoutbook to look), the issue you would have is in getting the tags for all the requirements, and understanding the rules for how they are used. It is not a task lightly taken. And, they change with time.
Black Pug and Tentaroo work with Councils to get the necessary data.
When I had to manually enter MBs from camp (before Black Pug produced the import csv) I just recorded everything as the last day of camp, even partials. The exact date a requirement is done is not important, only that it was done at camp. I then use a comment to indicate it was done at camp. Since we always go to Tomahawk, I use TSR in all of my comments.
Thanks. This was the 1st camp we had been to that didnt use one of the two systems. We have a large Troop and usually have about 300+ MBs to enter. This year it is slightly lower so the quick entry will work. Thanks.
