The Artificial Intelligence merit badge is not recognized by Scoutbook. When attempting to assign this merit badge to a registered merit badge counselor, Scoutbook returns a message that Artificial Intelligence indicating that it is not a recognized merit badge.
@ThomasNoon1 are you trying to connect a scout to an MBC?
No. I manage our council’s MBC database in Scoutbook. I am trying to assign/authorize a specific MBC for the Artificial Intelligence MB.

I mostly upload one individual at a time. Sometimes I have more than one.
I have tried recording the Artificial Intelligence MB multiple times with the same result.
@ThomasNoon1 might need to do a screen share to see what you are doing
Just tried to upload again and it was rejected. This is the message from Scoutbook - “Merit Badge Artificial Intelligence was not found. Make sure badge is still active and spelled correctly. See FAQ for list of current badges.”
I have been in contact with our Registrar and she is going to submit a ticket to National.
Your registrar should be able to add the AI and cybersecurity MBs to the MBCs via Registrar Tools. I cannot say how long it will be until they can be assigned via Scoutbook.

Our registrar was able to record the Artificial Intelligence MB in Scoutbook using the Registrar Tools. I noted that the MB was recorded as “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” not just “Artificial Intelligence”. I also downloaded the MB requirements database from Scoutbook and noted the MB listed as “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” also. So in order to record this MB to the Scoutbook MBC database you may have to use “Artificial Intelligence (AI)”. I will try that the next time.
