Is there any way to filter the attendance reports. I am trying to run attendance reports for just our Troop Meetings, but when typing in Troop Meeting in the Event, its also picking up our “No Troop Meeting” notifications. This is messing up the attendance percentages.
It also includes all the parents and committee members. Is there any better way to filter or control this to get better data?
If not additional filters and controls for the attendance reports would be very helpful.
Thanks for the help!
@DarrenFerlazzo - if you use the csv button you can filter it on your own.
And why put no meeting as an event in the calendar.
My troop does the same thing. Most folks assume every Monday we’re meeting. Having a reminder that we are not meeting can be as useful as having one that we are meeting. That said, if I was worried about attendance percentages, I would probably export to CSV as you suggested (or delete the “no meetings” monthly, or create them as type “other” or something like that).
@CharleyHamilton - ah.. i can see that… but i would be the type to mark everyone as having attended the No meeting
Or don’t invite anyone to the meeting. Everyone will still see it on the calendar but it won’t affect percentages.
Yeah, assuming folks actually look at the calendar. There’s a lot of ways to skin that cat, but it’s gonna yowl loudly no matter which you choose. :^)
Send the reminder then remove the attendees from the no meeting.
Or delete the no meeting meeting event after it happens so it doesn’t appear on the attendance report.
