A few months of calendar events AND attendance have disappeared for me.
I’m a Troop Advancement Coordinator and designated with Key 3+ access. I diligently collect attendance from our Scribe after each meeting and campout. Our troop determined whether a Scout is active based on attendance (low bar: at least 50% of meetings and at least one campout).
While running an attendance report on a Scout who’s almost wrapped up other rank requirements, I noticed that ALL our calendar events (weekly troop meetings, monthly PLC meetings, monthly campouts, hikes, service projects, etc.) from March 12-August 13 of last year have disappeared completely.
@AlanHarrison are they not showing on the report? or are they not showing in the calendar? Or do you mean logs as you mention hiking and service
Sorry for the confusion. I did not check Activity Logs initially.
Our meetings and campouts (all events) have all disappeared from the Calendar, but just for that period of time. I first noticed it this weekend when trying to run an attendance report for meetings and noticed the gap in attendance records. We use this information in part to determine whether a Scout has been “active.”
However, I can see campouts, hikes, and service projects in the Activity Log, and attendance for these do show up on reports.
The weird part is that I have not been able to create an Activity without attaching it to an Event on the Calendar…
