Calendar error - clear cache message

We have a unit in our Council who have been unable to access their calendar since August. In ScoutbookPlus when they click on the calendar link the system throws a ‘clear yor cache’ error. They have cleared their cache, done a hard refresh, tried in multiple browser types across multiple platforms, tried incognito/in-private mode - same error in all cases. Their calendar appears to be corrupted. Is there any way for someone to get access to this unit’s calendar and see if there is an event that is causing the issue?

@JonathonBealer

It would be best if someone having the issue posted here. Alternately if you post the Scouting America Member ID (no names) of someone with the issue we can try to investigate.

MemberID: 135051566

And apparently a post needs at least 20 chars, so this is padding…

@JonathonBealer what unit is the issue? is the user changing profiles at the top right?

He is experiencing this issue with P899.

The screenshot I have seen is from a phone, and the top right context is a Cub icon, but in that format the Unit number is not visible. He is Key 3 in this Pack.

I am also receiving the cache error when attempting to view the Purchasing tab. I have cleared my cache, did a hard reload, used incognito, and even used a different device. All of them receive this error

@LatnerG- known issue and reported

@Stephen_Hornak thank you

Stephen - is there a workaround for this issue? Is there an ETA on a fix?

@JonathonBealer- i was responding to the cache error on to purchase and to award noted by @LatnerG - and I was able to access those this morning without error.

@JonathonBealer- to your question.. it would certainly be easier if the user in question posted here as 3rd party support is not a good way to work.

@JonathonBealer Is it just the one user having that issue or others in the unit, too?

Person who reported the issue is here. What would you like to know? I log in to Scoutbook “Plus.” When I click calendar it starts to load and goes to that error screen after a few seconds. I’ve tried on 2 windows laptops, a MacBook, a Google pixel 9 pro, iPhone Air, iPad. Used a multitude of browsers including safari, chrome, and edge. Other leaders have tried to access the calendar and receive the same issue. It’s been on going since August 2025. Reported issue to council as per the error and received no guidance or support. Has significantly hindered our packs operation as we have been using Scoutbook calendar for tracking and reminders for years and have been unable to do so for more than 4 months.

@MichaelMooney - I would gather you have the correct role selected in the upper right in scoutbook plus ? And this started in August ?

You can see the roster and advancement just fine in Scoutbook Plus?

Could you post a screenshot before and after the error?

In the proper role. Can access all other functions. Click calendar. Loads for a couple seconds. Error

Error started in August shortly after building out our annual calendar.

@MichaelMooney - were any of those events with other units or just the pack ? I do see that you are listed with several other roles in the pack user instance.

@MichaelMooney

We will need to ask the developers to look into this.

Yes I have a ton of roles because I haven’t learned to say no. This is only impacting Pack 899. Doesn’t involve any other units.
