Can a new CoR submit application via beascout.org?

I have a unit that wants to change their CoR. Can the new CoR submit their application via beascout.org or must they submit a paper application (due to it requiring the EO’s signature)?

Using online registration for adults is Council dependent as some Councils allow them and some do not. I recommend asking your Council staff.

Our Council does online adult applications. I am asking about the CoR only.

Your Council is still the best source for an answer.

The question, that I don’t know the answer to, really is: if an adult submits an application online, can an existing COR make that new person the COR? When an app comes in, the COR both approves and assigns the role.

I do not think so, because a COR cannot approve their own application. The COR needs to be approved by the Executive Officer (IH).
