I am trying to enter the info for my Eagle Candidate’s Project in Scoutbook Plus (IA) and when I click to submit, I get an error message that “Only Scouts with Life Scout rank is allowed to create Eagle Service Project”. He has been a Life Scout and properly recorded as such for over a year. What gives?
Neither Mobile or Desktop, using Chrome, Green Mountain Council and Member ID is 131038511.
Could you provide a screenshot without any personal info?
@WilliamMount the Life Rank is not leader approved I do not think

@WilliamMount for that matter the only Scouting BSA Rank Approved is Scout - TF, SC, FC, Star, and Life are all unapproved - so I think they will have to be approved in order - all complete dates are good though so that should be no issue

@WilliamMount we noticed some odd things and have sent to DEVs for research - all your Scouts Ranks are Complete and Awarded, but not approved which should not be possible. Does the Unit do Imports from 3rd party software?
We do not. I am the majority data entry person and am pretty up to date on entries from rank to camping to service hours.

This was a partial. For some reason, nothing from Tenderfoot forward was. It is odd because I know that we have been doing that and marking them as “Awarded “ after Court of Honors. In any case, it is now handled and I’ll know how to prevent it with other Scouts. All I put is much appreciated!!!
