Cannot have a location in Scoutbook Event

I used to have no problem and usually added the location to my Scoutbook events using the Google Maps URL. Now if I try to enter the Google Maps URL I get an invalid URL message (see screenshot). I have to remove the URL and then it will save fine without a location, but I’d like to have a location.

It seems to work for me if you click the Share button and then use the URL from there.

The share option is key as it removes parts of the url that generates the error @IanTaylor

That is how I do it. Copy the share URL.
