Invalid Location URL for Event

I’m trying to create an event but when I save, I keep getting Invalid Location URL. I get this if I leave the field blank or fill it in with a valid Google location URL.

The field is optional and it should accept blank. I am not able to create events in the calendar because of this.

Do you have the Feature Assistant extension turned on?

I do have that. I found a way to get it to work, which makes no sense. I was trying to create events for patrols rather than the troop. After adding adults as leaders for each patrol, the location URL error went away.

I have no idea how the 2 things are related.

It’s more likely just a time thing. Sometimes Firefox takes a while to register that the extension is there and on.
