I have been unable to add camping nights or any activity logs to events in Scoutbook (tried in both Legacy and Plus). I am assigned Troop Admin control, but no matter how many ways I go about it, I cannot add these logs.
I have tried:
-editing the event, but no option to add camping/hiking shows up.
-making a new event, same issue as above.
-adding directly into Activity Logs, but my calendar events do not appear in the list, and there is no “+” to add events.
-using “quick entry” via Scoutbook Legacy
-selected everyone in the roster who attended, clicked add activity, selected dates, filled out every box, and the “record and finish” button says greyed out and will not let me complete the task.
I’ve followed all instructions on every page that tells me how to do this (and I’ve done it before), but I cannot get it to work. If I’m showing that I’m an admin, what is my next step to get my permissions back to what they are supposed to be?

There was a significant change in how permissions are structured. The old classic Scoutbook permissions structure no longer governs. Your unit Key 3 need to reset permissions as necessary for unit operations, based on the permissions documents noted below:
A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See the updated Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.
All unit operations including calendars are entirely in SB+ (advancements.scouting), with the exception of the merit badge counselor interface and the payment logs.

@PaulaMcCoy - what is your registered position in the unit as unit admin is only a legacy scoutbook thing and not valid in advancements.scouting.org which is where you should be working

I have been unable to update attendance. I did find that my status as Scoutmaster is FROZEN - it says my term has expired and my name is in RED. How do we fix this as I am full trained and currently registered with the unit.
@LauraPhilpot when you sign into my.scouting.org any clues? maybe My Profile? And what unit does it say that for you? 39G?
@LauraPhilpot in SB your position was ended as SM of 39G - I setup a 24 hour sync to bring it back. I would strongly advise unit not to mess with Legacy positions as that appears to be what happened
