I’m trying to update our acitivity logs in scoutbook plus but when I try to enter which scouts and adults were there, it says no data. I can see the roster and everyone is there. I have also contacted council and I am listed as the advancement chair and have access to be able to do that function. On their side it looks like it should be working just fine. But at last it’s not working. It is working on the other 2 units that I am apart of just not the boys troop.
@AtarahLee I assume this is for 201B? You do not have activities permissions for that unit. Key 3 would need to give you activities permissions.
A major focus of the migration to Scoutbook Plus is to have positions mirror the positions shown in My.Scouting to ensure positions were reflected accurately in both platforms. The main purpose it to honor the guidance of our charter organizations and the positions they approve. Therefore, Scoutbook Plus does not use Legacy Scoutbook positions. Registered positions are used to provide base permissions. Some additional permissions can be added by the unit, however, there are restrictions on what can be given. See the updated Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf and the Scoutbook Plus permissions video for more details.
So, not even the key three can make the changes either. My husband is committee chair and tried logging in and doing it and had the same problem. Council said from looking at their end that I did have permission. How do we fix it?
I suggest you start here - Scoutbook_Permissions.pdf - this shows the UAC cannot do it. As far as your husband we would need to have the member ID and we can take a look.
137534024 this is his member number
I see no logins to advancements.scouting.org for that account
That’s weird because I know that it was signed in for sure to check if the activity logs were working.
@AtarahLee- i can attest to the system accurately recorded login instances so there is that. I can also note as soon key3 that the activity log worked without issue in my test.
