Can't find a merit badge that was started

I started a merit badge for my Scout so I could connect him with the counselor for the first meeting. I went through “Start New” and then selected the badge. It took me into the Requirements page for the badge. I didn’t change anything there, then backed out to his profile. When I tried to go back in to look at the merit badge again, it was not in his Pending list and was no longer in the Start New list. If I go into Pending, the filter defaults to Started. I filter to All, then the badge shows up and says “Not Started” below it, but there were already of other dozens of “Not Started” badges showing up before selecting All. Going back and filtering for “Not Started” causes the badge to disappear again. It’s in some kind of in-between state it seems. I figured out how to find it, but someone else may have more trouble.

@NathanGreer - merit badge work is still in legacy scoutbook

@NathanGreer a MB in SB+ is only started if a comment is made or a requirement is marked. Just opening or looking at a MB does not start it

So that’s where I think a bug has snuck in. I clicked to start one and chose a badge and it took me to the requirements checkoff listing for the badge. I didn’t enter anything, but clicked on the Merit Badge link at the top of that page to go back to the listing. The badge I had selected was no longer in the list, unless I filtered for All as described in the original post.
