I am a Troop Committee Chair, but I have three sons in my Troop, and I cannot find the Cub Scout History report for my Youth, even in Legacy Scoutbook. In some of the forum discussions I see people post “Why do you need the Cub Scout report?” but one of my sons just achieved Eagle and the other two are getting near, and I could really use the ability to find out when my son achieved his Tiger/Wolf/Bear/etc., and there is no legitimate reason I could think of why this functionality wouldn’t exist for my sons which I have “Full Control” permissions over. Several people say that you can access the report in Legacy Scoutbook from the Youth’s reports page, but all I see are Scouting America/BSA reports, possibly because I am no longer connected directly to the Pack. Help!
@AndrewGalbraith We have asked the developers to add the Cub Scout History Report to the Reports menu in Scoutbook Plus for troops/crews/ships, but we do not know when or if it might be added.
In the meantime, you can get the information you are looking for in my.Scouting. On the troop Roster page:
- Select one or more Scout(s).
- Click “Print” → “Unit Advancement Details Report”
- All of the ranks will be listed in the “Rank” section.
