I have been unable to log into Advancements.Scouting.Org for more than 12 hours now and cannot update any advancement records.
Furthermore, I cannot pull any reports from scoutbook.scouting.org. I get a “timeout error.”
Our pack meeting is tonight and I am unable to pull award purchase order reports to purchase them. Our B&G and rank advacement ceremony is Sunday and again, I cannot pull any P.O.s to get the information needed.
@MichaelAbernethy - this happened midday Wednesday and was fixed and now appears to be back. One bit of advice is that i would take care of advancement one week prior to a pack meeting.
I appreciate the response. Looking for a resolution to the actual issue instead of unsolicited advice as the actual advancement end of things was taken care of for all but one scout. The fact that I can’t even run a Needs Purchasing report from Scoutbook classic and that there have been multiple system failures in such a short amount of time is ridiculous.
I even got an error message on this forum while writing this out. Seems there are some bigger issues at hand that no amount of foresight on the end of unit-level leaders can circumvent.
@MichaelAbernethy - I understand and the issue exists for all users as it is system issue. My advice was only to avoid the last minute items. I had a deadline for den leaders so that I was not rushing to the scout shop last minute. If it is just an adventure that is needed, then no advancement report is required.
If it fails - try a second log in - that worked for me
@DonovanMcNeil - I have tried multiple times and either get the MFA error or service unavailable.
Yes seems hit or miss - just heard there is a backend server issue again that is being looked at
Is there an update? I need to get advancements today for a blue and gold tomorrow: the local scout shop has limited hours today and is not open tomorrow.
It does not appear to be working for me. This is an urgent matter for IT.

Scouting America IT is working with the system vendor to resolve the issues. At this point there is no estimated up time.
Try a hard refresh and log in again - How to hard refresh your browser
Clearing cache on Chrome fixed this for me.
Chiming in. I also have issues. I have cleared cache and performed hard refresh on browser.
IA/SB+ - cannot login. “Failed to fetch MFA attributes”
SB (old) - I get timeout errors when trying to run pack reports.
my.scouting - I can login, but get logged out with a bunch of errors including MFA when I try to access my unit rosters or training reports. Sometimes I can access training reports, I’m told all reports are unavailable.
I’ve been having these issues since Friday.

IT has told us the login issues are occurring again this morning.
Can confirm. Still having login issues as of 3:12pm UTC time.
Still getting MFA errors on Scoutbook+/Advancements
I am able to get in to scoutbook classic with minimal abilities (some images don’t load, and features that kick over to Scoutbook+ don’t work)

We have been told the issue has reoccurred this morning. Scouting America IT is working on it.
was this issue resolved? were you able to do something to fix it? I am experiencing the same issue today.
Personally the clearing cache or hard refreshes or opening in incognito windows did not help me.
I am getting the same error just now. Others in my unit can’t get past the login page.
I manage our troop calendar, and cannot log in due to this error as well. I’ve tried all of the cache clearing, etc., to no avail.
