Can't remove former den chief from pack roster in scoutbook

I have ended his leadership term on the troop side but he still appears on the Pack roster as an unassigned scout. Tried ending his membership in the Pack through scoutbook several times but he keeps reappearing. His advancement in scoutbook plus now defaults to his Cub Scout record, so there is no longer a way to add his Scouts BSA advancements.

Can you try setting the default unit flag in their scouts bsa membership?

I did try that. It does show his Scouts BSA stuff when I do that, but when I select Advancement, it kicks me over to advancements.scouting.org where I only see his Cub Scout stuff.

Did you check if the pack membership has that default unit flag off (to the left)?

I can toggle between the two just fine. Once I am in the Troop side, I can now click Advancement without being diverted to Scoutbook Plus. However, when I tried to start a merit badge for him just now, it send me back to my dashboard.

That’s what we normally see when a scout has a membership in both the troop and pack. However, I have den chiefs who work fine. I ended the pack membership from my tools. We’ll need to give it a day to see if it sticks. But I’d assume you can start a merit badge presently?

Yes, I can now. Thanks. I will check again tomorrow. I have tried ending his pack membership a number of times since the spring but it never sticks.
