I was added as an adult leader for a local pack. When I log into Scoutbook, I can see the upcoming events, but when I click through to the IA calendar, the pack calendar is not in my list of calendars. What am I missing?
@AudreyReed are you officially in the Pack? Or did they just add you in SB?
It looks like your registration in the pack is still pending. Did you register today? It takes 24 hours after the registration is entered into the membership database for the registration to take effect.
Gotcha! Yes, I registered (and it was approved) this morning. I thought since it was showing in Scoutbook it should be showing in IA.
One of the admins probably manually added you to Scoutbook. Scoutbook Plus checks actual registrations to give calendar access.
I registered on my.scouting while I was on the phone with the committee chair. She approved my registration, and I saw it in Scoutbook immediately (she didn’t manually add me). I saw it in IA the next morning.
So, for clarification and understanding moving forward, IA (or Scoutbook Plus) always takes a day to show registrations? I want to know what to expect once we fully phase out Scoutbook.
