Hello, in Scoutbook I can see all three of my children’s calendar events listed (pack and two different troops). However, once I click and switch over to Internet Advancement, I can only see one of the calendars (the troop in which I am a committee member). Previously I was able to see all three calendars in IA. When I click “my calendars” in IA, it used to show all 3 and now it only shows the 1 calendar. How can I get my other two calendars back in IA?
@KellyCiric not sure what you mean by In Scoutbook? are you referring to Upcoming Events on the Unit Page? In IA do you have all the calendars on?
Hi! Yes, in Scoutbook.scouting.org when I go to My Dashboard/Events, in the “Upcoming Events” section I can see all 3 calendar events listed. However, when I go to advancements.scouting.org and I go to the calendar, I only see one of the calendars (I previously saw 3). In IA, I have gone under “My Calendars” I have clicked all of the boxes possible. However, it only shows one of the Troops. I am missing the second Troop and Pack and not able to checkmark them.
First guess would be something that is sometimes hard for us to see - have the units renewed their charter? We are seeing issues in IA when units have not
@KellyCiric Could you try logging all the way out, then log back in again?
You might also want to do a hard refresh when you log back in to Scoutbook Plus. You can do this by holding the SHIFT button down while clicking on the page reload in your browser.
Thank you, I tried logging in and out and tried the hard refresh but they are still not showing.
Both troops recently renewed their recharter at the same time. I am unsure of the pack. I had to renew my three scouts membership online prior to 12/31/24 and I did. I’m unsure if it is an issue with my account or with the other troop and the pack. I can try asking scout parents to see if they have the same issue as me.
Here is an update…
I checked with a Scout leader from our pack (who is not a leader in either boys or girls troop). She only has access to the IA calendar in which she is a leader in (the pack). She cannot view the IA calendar that she is a parent/guardian of (the boys troop).
I also checked with a Scout leader who is a leader in both the boys and the girls troops. She has access to both calendars in IA. She is not a parent/guardian of a child in the pack, so as expected she does not have access to the pack calendar in IA.
I still only have access to the girls troop calendar in IA. I cannot access the boys troop or the pack calendar in IA, even though I am shown as a parent/guardian in them.
It seems to be that we can only view IA calendars of troops/packs that we are adult leaders in. We cannot view them if we are only a parent/guardian.
