On our Crew roster I am seeing :warning: next to some leaders as well as in my Troop. What does this mean? How can it be fixed?

  • Adults not on Official Roster Warning
    • A :warning: icon will be displayed on the unit roster next to any adult leaders that are registered with the BSA but not registered with the unit. This warning is for informational purposes. As long as the adult stays registered with the BSA they can remain on the unit’s roster in Scoutbook.

I’ve seen the triangle correctly displayed next to a Unit Commissioner (who we added to our Scoutbook roster) and parents who are Merit Badge Counselors but aren’t directly registered with the Troop.

This is a great way to reconcile your Scoutbook roster, which can include both those on the official unit roster, as well as others who are officially registered elsewhere but can be added for convenience (for now).
