The substitute metric for advancement for Crews and Posts is “Elected and Trained Youth Leaders.” I assume that this is entered in Internet Advancement or Scoutbook in a manner similar to the Super Activities.
I realize that this process is very new, but I am getting questions from my unit commissioners.
- Does anyone know what the training requirement is? ILSC is available for Venture crews, but I’m not aware of a formal leader training program for Explorer Posts. The Exploring material refers to the EOA officer seminar, but that seems to be a loosely defined program, and somewhat optional.
I know we are early in the process, but any info anyone has would be appreciated. Thank You.
