How do you enter the Cyber Chip when a Scout earned it the previous year and have it show up for needs purchasing… The Recharge pin as well?
AFAIK, the recharge pin doesn’t show up when you refresh the Cyber Chip. You have to manually note that the recharge pin is needed, rather than the original patch.
The only way I’ve seen that (used to) trigger a Cyber Chip appearing on the Needs Purchasing list was to remove the existing Cyber Chip (assuming the scout is earning the same level again) and re-add it. I added the date that original one was earned in the comments.
Personally, I find that it’s easier to just let the advancement chair know that the award needs purchasing, and have them add it to the list manually.
