I think there are two time zone bugs in SB+.
-
Arizona does not participate in Daylight Saving Time. Our time zone in SB+ is set to Phoenix GMT -7. But for the past two years our meeting times shift an hour after the rest of the country does a DST change.
-
The second bug is when we try to change the time back to the original time we cannot set the new time - we can sometimes get the correct time to show by setting the new time to a whole hour after the intended time.
Example, a recurring event was made at the start of the school year for every 4th Monday at 6:30 PM. After the DST change the event’s time was changed to 5:30PM. The system will not let me change the time back to 6:30PM. I try to then set the time to 7:30PM and that frequently fails too. So the next best thing it so set the time to 7:15 PM. This will actually save the new time and it tricks the UI into showing the start time as 6:15PM. Which is close to what we want (6:30) but not quite correct.
The best workaround I’ve found is that I either need to cancel the event and make a new one just for the time period between DST changes OR I need to set it 45 minutes later and then explain to parents that the meeting actually is at 6:30 and the calendar just says 6:15.
This is probably something that needs to be fixed by the developers but if there is anything on your end that could help I would appreciate it.
