Recurring meeting set before DST for 6:30pm-8:00pm
Edited 1 instance of the series. When it opened, it said 7:30-9:00pm. I changed it back to 6:30-8:00pm. Now the calendar says 8:30-10:00pm and the feed into my google calendar says 7:30-9:00.
@AudreyReed so you saved as 6:30 - went to edit and it said 7:30. So you changed to 6:30 again but now says 8:30. Does it Say different times in Calendar and in Edit?
7:30 on the calendar. 8:30 in edit.
@AudreyReed try a hard Refresh
Did a hard refresh. No change.
Logged out, cleared browsing data, logged back in. No change.
So what is the saved time supposed to be? 6:30 or 7:30 - little confused on that
and what exact date of event did you change if not the screenshot
April 16. It’s the screenshot & the link in the original post.
This is the detail screen of the an event. I don’t remember ever seeing the “local” time in parentheses.
And the same event shows even an hour earlier on the main calendar.
I needed to edit the event to add a location. I didn’t touch the times. After I saved it, the main calendar showed the originally correct time of 6:30, the event information shows 7:30 with a “local” time of 8:30. This is crazy.
Noted @AudreyReed thanks
I figured it out - Somehow my time zone was changed in my settings. No clue how. It took me a while just to find it to check it so I definitely didn’t accidentally change it. It took a few minutes, but eventually the event information screen updated correctly too so I’m no longer seeing wrong time + the weird “local” time.
It was just brought to my attention that our calendar times changes after DST occurred in March 2025. I took screen shots of our settings in SC and SB+ and we noticed that SC has it as GMT 05:00 but SB+ has it is America: New York GMT 04:00. How do we fix these issues?
@MatthewSchieferstein - the calendar is strictly reading what is set in SB+ and I know our 7pm times remained unchanged with DST
That’s definitely odd, though. Is there an “Eastern/UTC-5” option in SB+? What happens if you toggle the Classic SB time zone setting?
ETA: Color me embarrassed. I keep forgetting it’s DST now, so UTC-4 is correct.
Which way did the times switch for your calendar, @MatthewSchieferstein?
