Maybe another time zone issue

I just created a campout in December. My timezone is correct in IA. The time in Scoutbook & in my subscribed calendar is an hour off (assuming there’s some DST ending math happening there), but it’s super confusing. Will the times magically change in Scoutbook & in my subscribed calendar when DST ends? (6:30pm - 12:00pm is the correct time for the event and that’s what I put in IA)

I had just reported this same issue, if it is one. Technically, you timezone will change on Nov 5. So, it may be accurate (but kind of confusing if you ask me).

Also, the scoutbook calendar will be retired. The SB calendar didn’t really handle daylight savings time correctly. So, we have a little one-time issue to work through in the transition.

I hope they find a fix. It’s very confusing to me and makes it very hard to manage my personal calendar beyond DST coming & going.

It’s not just a SB thing. It’s also with the iCal subscriptions. Personally, that is the only way I can maintain my sanity.

I agree that’s it’s confusing.

Please retest, they made some changes.

Just created another event in December. Same issues.

@AudreyReed

Another user reported the same and it has been relayed to the developers.

There were some changes made to the TimeZone used in the IA calendar just now. Please test again. do a hard refresh to reload the system: ctrl-refresh browser screen. Then test again.

@WilliamNelson - here is a shot of the Nov calendar

and the event info for the 14th

The calendar view shows the offset at 6pm and the actual event at 7pm which is what it is supposed to be

Thanks I will report it
