Delete Required Meetings in Scoutbook- Den Leader

I am a new den leader this year. I logged into the Scoutbook - Den Leader app for the first time and gave permission to the app to autopopulate all of the required meetings. This was a huge mistake, because the head den leader did not want this done. He said that it’s a nightmare to autopopulate them because every time you have a new scout join, you have to add that scout into every single meeting one at a time. He only adds a meeting the day before teaching it. Can someone pretty pretty please delete all of the meetings for me? I don’t want to start off on the wrong foot with this new den.

A den admin can click Hide DLE Events in the Scoutbook Calendar

DLE created events cannot be deleted. Your only option is to hide them.

@ShaunaEllis it is a unit issue we do not have access to that

Did you check if you have that button? I would think you would if you could create them.

I have this same problem. I autopopulated the calendar not realizing I couldnt easily change things around. I cannot find a way to hide these events. Please help!

What do you see when you go to the regular scoutbook calendar?

I can see all the meetings there but I can’t edit them.

On that page, the den leader should see a button that says Hide DLE Events

Awesome! I found the button and I no longer see those events. Will this hide them for everyone in my den? Also, if I create a new event, can I choose to show that event or is it an all or nothing thing? Thank you so much!

I hate to say it but I’m facing the same problem, and can’t find anywhere the option to hide events (I am the den leader).

I auto-populated all of the meetings before the den was updated from Tiger to Wolf in the system. The calendar is now displaying all of the Tiger meetings we completed last year. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

That hides it for everyone in your den. It is all or nothing for hiding DLE events.

What do you see on the regular scoutbook calendar page?

If you still want to use DLE, you’ll have to move all the Tiger events to the past.
