Difficulty updating Functional Roles

Hello,

On my Safari MacBook desktop Sequioa 15.5 and are trying to update a functional role. Both our COR and I (Key 3 delegate) have tried to update it. We added the new person as our advancement chair and now it says “too many people in this position” but it won’t let us remove the old person. Can you help?

14485702 is the outgoing Advancement chair – his name is grayed out in functional roles and we can’t remove him. It shows his advancement chair position expired 6/10/25 on the roster
14082114 is the incoming Advancement chair – we made him a Key 3 delegate in the meantime so he can update things.

I suggest you contact your Council for assistance. Your Advancement Chair’s Committee Member membership expires on 11/30/25 but the Advancement Chair functional position is marked expired 6/10/25 and eligible to renew. This should not happen because Unit Advancement Chair is a functional role, not a registered position.

Your Council can open a ticket to fix this.
