I have a scout who has completed all of his requirements for Eagle and is ready to turn in his binder to Council, but we are struggling with his leadership position populating on his Eagle application properly using Scoutbook Plus. He served as Patrol Leader and then transitioned to Scribe to finish out his leadership requirements. Patrol Leader is being pulled through, but Scribe is not. If he turns into Council, they will deny it as the Eagle application shows less than 6 months of leadership. Is anybody having this issue?
@JeffreyMiller11 - is that scribe POR approved ? And the only thing that council needs is the Eagle Scout Rank application and not a binder.
Yes, it is POR approved (it is even listed as an approved position under requirement 4 for Eagle in Scoutbook Plus).
My apologies . . . yes it is checked as approved.
@JeffreyMiller11 - here is that same scout and the POR from ESRA
What does it show on the scout profile page and the ESRA for your scout.
You can just type what is needed in the PDF using Abode PDF Free reader also if needed.
@JeffreyMiller11 Is the position listed as a troop Scribe? Or as a patrol Scribe? It needs to be listed as a troop Scribe to count.
Yes, that was mentioned as the work around, but wondering if there is a glitch. This is the first Eagle application my troop has run since the upgrade that added MBC capabilities.
What is the Member # of the Scout?
There is only one scribe listed from the pulldown of positions available. Is Calendar Editor perhaps considered the Troop Scribe in SB Plus?
133380240 is his BSA ID
@JeffreyMiller11 - no in the leadership positions the position of scribe would need to be listed. Calendar editor is a permission.
@JeffreyMiller11 OK I see the issue - but not sure on it - let me check
I think in Legacy you could assign a scribe to patrol - you cannot in SB+
how would I add him as a Troop scribe? I have tried to figure it out, and Iām at a loss.

A leader can go to SB+ > Scout Profile > click + by leadership and add it
That is how it is currently setup.
He is still in a patrol and it is assigning him a Patrol scribe then. There is nothing available to differentiate between a Troop scribe and a patrol scribe
@JeffreyMiller11 It looks like the patrol Scribe position was added in Scoutbook (legacy). If he was actually troop Scribe, then delete the position, and add it back again. Scoutbook Plus does not have the ability to add patrol Scribes or other patrol-level positions, except Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader.
