I am a Den Leader and have been following my group through the ranks - starting with Lion and am currently in Wolf. I have been trying to save my meeting data in Scoutbook, by recapping all of our meetings and activities as calendar events - with descriptions and attendance. I started initially with just the activities (hiking, camping, service) in the first couple years, but now do all of our events.
Out of curiosity, I recently ran an attendance report for my son and it showed him absent from several “phantom” calendar events from 2022-2023, our Lion year. I definitely created these a long time ago, but I have no idea how I can now edit or delete them. I believe I may have created them while exploring the old “Den Leader Experience” app, but ultimately abandoned that (since our Pack uses a different app to communicate with families). However, they still exist somewhere (as they are being pulled into attendance reports) and everyone is marked absent. Also, however, is that I cannot find them on the Scoutbook calendar to edit/delete.
In short, they are reflected on attendance reports, so Scoutbook is pulling the data from somewhere, but are otherwise inaccessible to view/edit/delete. Is there a way to find where Scoutbook is pulling this data, access it and edit/delete?
Ultimately, I would like to eventually be able to use the different reports in Scoutbook (attendance, rank history) to make a nice little keepsake for my group when the eventually crossover. While that is a couple years away, I am thinking about that now as I am trying to ensure that I am uniformly inputting data to make a quality, keepsake-worthy, report. I’ve invested a lot of energy into recapping each meeting (starting this year, but with plans to go backwards) with the dual hope of creating quality reports and also as a legacy resource to the future Den leaders of our Pack.
I am attaching some screenshots from the attendance report, and calendar. If it is helpful, I have Key 3 Delegate and full Pack Administrator access to both Scoutbook and my.scouting. So, I believe that I should be able to see any calendar event created within our Pack. In addition, I am even listed as invited and not attended on the event I used as an example!
