When I create an event in Scoutbook Plus, I am able to save it if I “Disable Reminders for this event”. But when I go to create an ASAP reminder, I get an error message that says “Error: Empty Addresses”. I went into the profiles for the dozen scouts in my Den, and their parents email addresses show correctly. Why is this error message appearing and how I can send ASAP notifications to my families about an upcoming event?
I have reported this to the developers.
I need more information. Does this happen on every event? If not, could you give me date, time and title of an event where this occurs?

Thanks for your reply. I am new to Scoutbook Plus since I just became a leader. So this was my first event creation, but I had two experienced Scout leaders looking over my shoulder last night when I was attempting to do this, and they agreed something looked off with that error message. Here is a screenshot of the event details. Note that I did NOT get an error message when I changed the reminder to “3 weeks in advance” (which would be later this week given the event timing).
Scheduled and ASAP reminders use different backend infrastructure so this does not surprise me. I’ll send the additional details to the devs.

Dumb question, does your event have Scouts or Leaders invited?
The + Add Unit/Subunit is because the + can add either additional units for people that are leaders in more than one unit or a Subunit (dens and patrols).
The invitee section of the calendar event will be to the upper right. Because you selected Other for event type no one is automatically invited. You need to explicitly add people to the invite list.
I have asked the developers to change the behavior so that if no one is invited, reminders are disabled.

I just tried changing the event from “Other” to “Sub-Unit Meeting”. But when I added in an ASAP notification, I got the following error message: “Not Found”.
Note that I have my Sub-unit selected, “AOL Den - 3”. But since it is a sub-unit meeting, I shouldn’t have to select any other options from the right pane, correct?
