Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Yesterday and this morning I sent several Test invites to myself and set the reminder as ASAP and I never received any of the invites. I confirmed in Scoutbook that I am not set up as Opt-out on messaging. Is this a known issue?
Added screen prints which show invite creation with just me and that I chose to send a reminder ASAP. Then went back to check and it shows that I’m the only recipient and it’s on the calendar. Still no calendar invite sent.
I’m having a similar issue for a newly created calendar event - I edit the event and disable the event reminders and schedule reminder, including a “Send ASAP” and when I hit save it shows the event as being saved, but then my view the event it shows that the event reminders have been disabled again and no reminders have been sent, including the send ASAP.
I then went to the event to the “Event RSVP” to generate a Send RSVP request, I selected all of the invitees and when I hit send, the screen showed as loading for several minutes, and it did send the RSVP request, but recipients have reported receiving multiple RSVP emails. I have received four emails myself and reports of others receiving anywhere from zero to 4 RSVP requested emails.
Thank you! Is this a Scoutbook Plus issue or an issue with me? Also, any idea how long fixes take? Trying to get the invites out so we can collect headcount before big, upcoming campout.
While I can create a new event, any reminders added to the new event are not saved. I save the event, come back in editting the event, and the reminders are gone. I am guessing this issue is related to this bug….. thanks.
