Error in Scoutbook+ IA Entering Adventure for Scout in Pack

Good Morning!

I am the Cubmaster for Pack 706, Heart of Virginia Council (602), and have Unit Admin privileges in Scoutbook. I am attempting to enter the Summertime Adventure for my scouts, and when I go to an individual scout’s profile (MemberID 13952733 for example) to put comments in for the individual activities to capture which three activities they do, I get the following error (Timestamp 8:13 AM EDT if it helps find it in any logs):

Please advise the best way to resolve this, as I would like to be able to capture in the comments the events each scout attended for record keeping purposes as stated in the header notification text.

Thank you!

@Michael-Raymond are the Scouts in the correct den levels? Have you tried a Shift + Refresh?

@DonovanMcNeil Yes, all are in the correct Dens ranks, and Shift Refresh hasn’t done anything; this error still occurs on both the Desktop and Mobile versions of Google Chrome as well as the Desktop version of Microsoft Edge

And are the scouts on the 2024 version of rank? have you tried an incognito window?

Yep, 2024 Version, and tried just now in Incognito (8:46 AM EDT) and got the same error.

@DonovanMcNeil - I tested one of my scouts and got the same error when posting a comment and happens at any adventure.

so it is the comment not the adventure?

@DonovanMcNeil - correct it is entry in the comment box

I get the error when both entering a comment for individual requirements as well as comments on the entire adventure itself.

I am trying to get it to fail

@Michael-Raymond @Stephen_Hornak

Can we get video captures of the failure?

Sure - Is there any special way to upload it/send it to you, since I can’t obfuscate the scout’s identifying information?

@Michael-Raymond

I will send you a private message with several members of the SUAC where you can upload the video. Look for a green envelope on the green circle with white M in the upper right of your forum window.

@Michael-Raymond

We have a workaround for you. Click the check box next to the activity requirement, enter a completion date and click save then add the comment.

It looks like that works as a work-around for now, thank you for identifying a solution!
