Having one of the parents removed from a scouts connection

I have a parent who wants to remove the other parent from a scouts account. The other parent is deceased and scout is struggling with dealing with it and all scoutbook messages to the scout has that parent. How does this parent go about removing them. I need to be able to tell them the process for this unique situation.

If the parent cannot log in to the deceased parent’s account and remove the connection, your Council can remove the deceased parent using Volunteer Support Tools. In most Councils, the registrar is the individual with access to VST.
