How do parent allow their scouts access to scoutbook

Here are the instructions I use to send parents to allow their scouts to use scoutbook:
Here are the steps:

  1. Log into your own account on scoutBook.scouting.org
  2. Open ‘My Dashboard.’
  3. Click the ‘Child’ under My Family
  4. Click on your child’s ‘Edit Profile.’
  5. Go to the bottom and click ‘Invite xxx to Connect.’
  6. Enter your child’s email address
  7. Have your Scout log into their email account and ‘accept’ your invitation and choose a password.

Do these still work as it seems the edit profile option goes to Internet Advancement instead of Scoutbook/

The “Invite to Connect” button now lives under “Edit Extended Information”.

There was an updated instruction set issued for connecting scouts to their accounts after the profile information moved to IA2. The inviting scout to connect instructions are near the bottom.
